Bailey Van Orman, Staff Reporter
Bailey Van Orman is a sophomore at Warren Hills Regional High School. She has gone to school and lived in Washington her whole life with her mom and dad, as well as her brother, Max, who is a senior at Warren Hills. She currently plays in the pit for the Marching Band and plans to continue doing throwing events for track and field in the spring. With a passion for music, she is a part of the Advanced and Select choirs in school. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and collecting it in various forms such as records, CDs, and cassettes. When she isn't listening to music, she will most commonly be found spending time with her family and friends.
Ever since elementary school, Bailey knew she enjoyed writing and joined Journalism in her sophomore year because she wanted to improve upon her writing capabilities. Journalism has always been a topic of interest to her, as she realizes the media can be incredibly biased in almost every place you look. In the future, she hopes to go to college to pursue a career in some form of business, communications, or public relations.
