Bailey Van Orman, Editor in Chief
Bailey Van Orman, a senior, is elated to be one of your Editors-In-Chief this year! She has been in journalism for 3 years, starting as just a staff writer her Sophomore year, being promoted to an editor position her Junior year of high school, and finally reaching Editor-In-Chief status her Senior year.
Outside of journalism, she is the Student Council President, a Debate Team Captain, and 4-year member of Select Choir and Marching Band. She is also involved in Best Buddies and is a 3-year Varsity thrower for the school’s track and field team. When she’s not participating in a school activity, she spends her time listening to music and discovering new artists, spending time with family and friends, or trying to go to another concert.
After graduation she plans on majoring in Political Science in hopes of one day making her way into politics in Washington DC. Although she is sad her time with The Streak is coming to an end, she cherishes the memories and friends she made, and cannot wait for another amazing year being a part of the journalism staff!
