Aaliyah Khan, a senior at Warren Hills, is one of the Editor-in-Chiefs for The Streak. This is her third year on the newspaper staff and she would like to make her last year  writing for The Streak a memorable one. Outside of The Streak, Khan plays for the Warren Hills Tennis Team and is involved in clubs and organizations such as the Debate Team, where she is a captain, Human Rights Club, as the president, Glamour Gals Service Club, also as the president, National Honors Society, Girl Up,Big Brothers Big Sisters, and SAVE. She is also self-proclaimed shopaholic, loves to sing her heart out (only in front of her family and close friends, of course), and plays tennis and ping pong whenever she gets the time. She also loves taking care of her cat and bunnies, and traveling the world. She has been over to over seven countries so far, some of which include India, Dubai, Mexico, and Haiti (just to name a few). She also acknowledges herself as a perfectionist, who tries her hardest in almost everything in life. In the future, Khan would like to attend college where she would major in law, and plans on becoming a lawyer, fighting for justice and equality.

In early January, select classes attended the annual STEM showcase, where Warren Hills alumni shared their experiences in the STEM fields. This year, 51 alumni representing a variety of STEM careers attended, and ranged from graduating years of 2007 to 2019. Listening to the experiences from alumni who took the same classes as many students did today, current students learned how and why they are being prepared for life outside of Warren Hills. “It was really interesting to see what past students did after Warren Hills and how our school prepared them for their futures,” said junior Frances TenEyck.
