Roisin McCluskey is a sophomore at Warren Hills. From Oxford, they graduated with the eighth-grade class of 2020. They have always been interested in writing and literary works, hoping to become an accomplished author in the near future. Reading and writing has always been a part of them; they’ve been writing since age 5 and reading since before that. As of late, they’re infatuated with the Impostors series by Scott Westerfeld. Some of their other favorite books include the Harry Potter series, the Uglies series, City of Ember and I Would Leave Me If I Could. In their own writings, they have moved up from short stories to drafts of novels.

For the 2021-22 school year, they’re excited to be a part of the Journalism I course and the newspaper staff. When they aren’t writing, McCluskey can normally be found with their friends or their little sister. Other than writing, some of their hobbies include listening to music, drawing and acting. They tend to participate in the Warren Hills Drama Club during the yearly play and musical. As well as the Drama Club, they are also a member of the Student Literary and Art Magazine here at Warren Hills. As a freshman, they had two works published in the 2021 editions of the SLAM magazine.
