Roisin McCluskey, A&E Editor

Roisin McCluskey is a junior at Warren Hills. They have always been interested in writing and literary works, hoping to become an accomplished author in the near future. They hope to publish something professionally before their high school graduation. Reading and writing has always been a part of them; they’ve been writing stories since age five and reading since they were able to spell. As of late, they’re infatuated with The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Some of their other favorite books include the Impostors series, the Uglies series, City of Ember, Harrow Lake and List of Ten. In their own writings, they have moved up from short stories to drafts of novels and collections of poetry.

For the 2022-23 school year, they’re excited to be a part of the Journalism II course and the newspaper staff, moving up to the position of arts and entertainment editor. When seen in the hallways, they’re most likely sipping an energy drink. When they aren’t writing, McCluskey can normally be found with their friends or their younger sister. Other than writing, some of their hobbies include listening to music, drawing and acting. They tend to participate in the Warren Hills Drama Club during the fall play and spring musical each year. As well as the Drama Club, they are also a member of the Student Literary and Art Magazine and SAVE/Environmental Club here at Warren Hills.
