Kirsten Dorman, Editor in Chief
Kirsten Dorman is a senior at Warren Hills and is ecstatic to return to the staff, now as an Editor in Chief and In-Depth Editor of The Streak. Outside of working on the paper, Kirsten enjoys spending her time as a Captain of the girls’ Varsity Tennis team in the fall. She also enjoys participating in and volunteering with Warren Hills’ Debate team, Select Choir, and Human Rights Club. When she isn’t doing any of these things she can be found spilling tea, playing with her dog, and watching The Office. After high school, Kirsten looks forward to attending a college with engaging Communications and Media Law courses. At one point in her life, she would also like to participate in an International Studies Program in a Spanish speaking country. Further into her career Kirsten hopes to become involved in investigating and reporting on true crime. Specifically, she would like to raise awareness around missing persons cases in the United States and internationally. Ultimately, Kirsten aspires to become an investigative and/or broadcast journalist and to continue covering stories that she is passionate about. Some of her other long-term goals include traveling the world and to be able to continue developing her skills as a journalist and writer.
