Jessica Smith, Editor in Chief
Jessica Smith is a third-year journalist and senior at Warren Hills, writing for The Streak. This school year, she is proud to have taken on the role as one of the Editors in Chief. Aside from the newspaper, Jess has a very time-consuming schedule. She can be found taking part in all of the available choirs at Hills as an Alto (1 or 2), Drama club, National Honor Society, Yearbook, and – to top it all off – her after-school job. When she isn’t running around from one activity to another, Jess can be found dedicating her time to serving as a Peer Leader and a Girl Scout, which she has been for the last thirteen years. Her future plans include going to college for secondary education and then getting her master’s degree in counseling. From there, Jess would like to not only take on the role of a guidance counselor but also a mom, author, and professional photographer. Jess would like to thank those involved in Journalism for making her time taking part in the newspaper special and helping her improve in not only writing, but life. Jess is looking forward to the future and whatever happens she will always carry the skills she has learned as a high school Journalism student.
