The Streak

Carolyn Brown, a sophomore at Warren Hills, is a first-year Journalism I student. Brown loves to write and is excited to explore this love through journalism.

Outside of school, she is either playing Field Hockey, where she is a captain on the Junior Varsity team, or Softball. Brown has been playing Field Hockey since the third grade and Softball since kindergarten. Although going to college for either sport isn’t out of the question, it isn’t one of her priorities. Brown also has been a part of Best Buddies and Student Council since her freshman year. She hopes to major in education and maybe minor in fine art. She wants to become a teacher who can inspire students as much as her past teachers have inspired her.

Brown also loves to hang out with friends, listen to music, and binge her favorite TV shows. She loves to take care of her cats, Luna and Kitty, and travel. Her dream is to study overseas, traveling across the world, seeing different cultures and visiting Paris. A part of this dream is painting the Eiffel Tower. Brown loves to draw and paint whenever she feels inspired. Art has always been a part of her life. She hopes to grow more as a writer while being a part of Journalism I and The Streak
