The Warren Hills Regional Student Council held daily virtual “Spirit Days” to keep up morale and positivity during the national quarantine due to the Coronavirus. Student Council kicked these days off after the April 10-15 spring break with “Dream Spring Break Destination.” Students could post on Instagram from different locations, tagging the Warren Hills Instagram page, as well as using the hashtag #streakinisolation. Before the quarantine took place, Student Council President Jessica Howley said, “My favorite Spirit Day was the blackout we did on the day of the pep rally. It showed we were all together.” For the virtual Spirit Days, however, Howley said that her favorite day was, “Who Are You Quarantined With?” as “it was fun seeing everyone’s families and their pets!” The Student Council also teamed up with other clubs, such as GlamourGals, the Healthy Options Club, and SAVE, to host these virtual Spirit Days.
