Ashlee Szamreta, Staff Reporter
Ashlee Szamreta is a sophomore at Warren Hills Regional High School. It is her first year as a member of The Streak. Szamreta joined the Journalism staff because she feels that writing for the school newspaper is a way for her to express herself and her thoughts to others, or anyone who is willing to read what she writes. She says that this class is a way for students who want to be heard to get their voices out there. Szamreta is always open to learning new things and is very good at keeping up with her school work and her grades. After taking Journalism for not even a month, Szamreta has opened her eyes to new ideas and is taking interest in getting involved more in school activities and the school news. She has discovered more than she thought she would already and is now more in touch with the activities going on around her than ever before.
When she is not in school, Szamreta is a Volleyball player on Warren Hills’ school team. Other hobbies of hers include hanging out with friends, listening to music, and spending time with her family. Szamreta lives with her two parents and her two siblings in Mansfield and has lived there her whole life.
