NHS to Honor New Inductees from Class of 2022

Each spring, the National Honor Society reaches out to juniors at Warren Hills Regional High School to apply for membership in the NHS. Although students are deemed eligible based on high grade point averages, each student’s selection also involves “The Four Pillars” that go beyond academic achievement. “The Four Pillars of the National Honor Society are leadership, service, character, and scholarship,”  said Carmello Chiara, English teacher and Warren Hills’ NHS club advisor. A six-member NHS faculty council is spending the month of May reviewing applications from about 60 Warren Hills students. The list of students accepted into the NHS will be made public by the end of the month. Those who are not accepted as juniors will have a chance to re-apply in the fall, Chiara said.
