Junior Emily Kovacsy offers two thumbs-up in favor of wearing pajamas to school in support of the recent DECA Good Grief fundraiser. Students and staff members paid $1 to wear either pajamas, a hat or blue jeans to school on Tuesday, Nov 5. Good Grief is a New Jersey Statewide Community Service Project meant to teach students “business skills, and also serve their community and society as a whole,” according to the New Jersey DECA website. The proceeds from this fundraiser go to Good Grief, which provides a variety of free support for those who have lost loved ones. The Warren Hills event raised $312. Students in English Teacher Emily Kablis’ homeroom were recognized for recording the highest participation rate on Good Grief day. (Photo by Samantha Lewis)
