End-of-Year Show Features Award-Winning Artists

Senior Nicole Magistrado and her color drawing were among the artists and artworks featured at the End of Year Art Show that ran May 1-5 in the Warren Hills Regional High School library. The show included a two-hour viewing open to the public during the evening of May 2. “This show featured work from all fine-arts classes,” said Fine Arts Teacher Vittoria Sigona. The End of Year Art Show included two award-winning Warren Hills student artists who recently exhibited at the 16-school Wallkill Invitational art show at Wallkill Valley Regional High School in Hamburg, N.J. At Wallkill Valley, Magistrado captured third place in the Drawing Color Category, and senior An Thien Le placed second in the Drawing Black & White Category. Le received a $5,000-a-year scholarship to Montserrat College of Art in Massachusetts. (Photo courtesy of Vittoria Sigona)
