Warren Hills Pianists Perform in Atlantic City
Band students Owen Case and Vincent DiMaio performed together on October 25 at the Annual NJ Boards Workshop in Atlantic City, New Jersey to show the school board the talented young musicians all across the state. “My favorite part of the convention was watching the crowd gather as we played music,” said DiMaio. Selections the two played included “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Root Beer Rag,” “The Greatest Showman Medley,” “Spain,” “Runaway,” “Duel of the Fates,” and “Everytime You Leave.” The two have been friends since last school year and played together in the percussion section of The Blue Streak Marching Band this fall. “I’m really grateful for that opportunity and being able to work with Vincent as well, it made our friendship so much closer through this experience,” said Case.
