FFA Attends National Expo
Warren Hills FFA students attended the National FFA Convention and Expo from Oct. 26 to 29 in Indianapolis. The students participated in team building activities and heard from colleges that offer agricultural opportunities. The events that were featured at the convention covered everything from farm care and maintenance to livestock evaluations. Warren Hills FFA competed in the Environment and National Resources and Floral Culture competitions, making it to the national level. FFA reporter Clara Woodruff explained that the students intended to participate in more competitions, but due to an unfortunate flight cancellation, they were unable to compete. “We ended up just going to experience the Expo,” Woodruff said. “It was a lot of fun, and we were able to learn a lot more about FFA.”
