New Cheer Coach Enjoys Homecoming Night Victor

The Warren Hills Cheerleading Team has cheered at many Homecoming football games before, but this year’s Oct. 1 Homecoming game was special because the team was led by a new coach. Kimberly Sweet was recently assigned the new head coaching job for the Warren Hills cheer team. Oct. 1 was her first ever homecoming game at Warren Hills, and she was able to watch the Blue Streaks beat Bound Brook 33-20 to increase their record to a respectable 4 wins and 1 loss. “That game really let me get a feel for this school and really showed me what the students here at Warren Hills are all about,” Sweet said. The Cheerleading Team also ran a youth clinic before the big game so they could show their youth girls what it’s like to cheer in high school. Each quarter of the football game the cheerleaders had a different age level of youth come and cheer with them. “The girls had so much fun with the student section, and it overall looked like a good time to everyone that came out to watch our football players,” Sweet said.
