The Warren Hills Boys Basketball Team welcomes new head coach Joseph Bamford, an alumnus and former Hills athlete who played for the Blue Streaks from 2005 to 2009. He teaches English at Warren Hills this year. Bamford is one of the youngest head coaches ever at the high school and will be coaching the conference champions of last season. He said that he plans to switch up the team’s playing style this season. “This year our goal is to be a high- tempo team,” he said. “Ideally, we would like to get out and run, but matchups will influence our plan of attack.” Bamford and the boys’ basketball team open the season Dec. 20 against Somerville.
