Peer Leaders attended the seventh annual Teen Summit in late October at Phillipsburg High School. At the Summit, Peer Leaders from Belvidere, Hackettstown, Phillipsburg, Warren Tech, and Warren Hills listened to four guest speakers about their struggles with addiction to drugs and alcohol. “I learned [addiction] can happen to anyone, even straight A students, nobody wants to go through what they did,” said Michelle Escobar, a senior Peer Leader who attended.
