As a fourth marking period project, seniors Griffin Howey, Jake Tuttle-Weston, and Avery Sozanski designed and built a wishing well for English teacher MaryAnn McKinney. While subbing for Mr. Smith, McKinney mentioned the well house she’s always wanted. Using cedar logs from McKinney’s property, these three students took it upon themselves to make her dream a reality, building the well house Lincoln Log style. Over the course of six weeks, they worked with McKinney to create the perfect lawn ornament. McKinney was thrilled with the outcome and loves the new addition to her property. “I was super impressed with the craftsmanship,” she said.
