Franki Lopresti, Editor

Frankie Lopresti is a senior at Warren Hills and is one of the many great editors of The Streak. Frankie is also going into his second year in journalism as well as his second year writing for The Streak. LoPresti is aiming to major in Sports Medicine and minor in Sports Journalism as both topics are some of his biggest interests. Any moment LoPresti gets to report on sports, he doesn’t hesitate to take the opportunity.

Outside of writing and editing for The Streak, LoPresti takes part in many other sports and activities in the school. LoPresti is in his fourth year of Marching Band and achieved his goal of becoming the Drum Major of the Blue Streak Marching Band. This is something he is very grateful for. He believes that the experience of being a Drum Major is one of the many reasons why he has made such a leap on his leadership skills. He also believes that being Drum Major taught him responsibility and not to take things for granted. This is especially true with deadlines. Like the Marching Band, LoPresti also plans on returning to the Jazz ensemble for his fourth year as well and hopes to be playing the Bass Trombone once again. LoPresti has high hopes for both of his bands, and believes that both bands could truly go places and win some major titles.

LoPresti is also going into his fourth year on the bowling team, and his second year as captain of the team as well. LoPresti is aiming to win Boys State Sectionals for bowling as it would be his first time winning a major tournament for the bowling team during his time. LoPresti still hopes that he can bowl in college and believes that if he once again bowls the way he did in 2020, his dream could become a reality. LoPresti is looking forward to once again writing for The Streak Newspaper and having a great final year at Warren Hills
