The Streak

Sarah Hale

Sarah Hale is a senior and a second-year Journalism student at Warren Hills. She is thrilled to be working with Mrs. McKinney and the rest of the newspaper staff again, this time as the Hills Happening Editor. Sarah’s love of Journalism is rooted in her ability to express herself through her writing while still maintaining the literary integrity by supporting her work with objective research. Though she does not plan on pursuing a career in Journalism, Sarah recognizes the important skills she has learned and how they will translate into everyday aspects of her life. Sarah is more inclined to be found writing stories of her own, but she enjoys the challenges of writing non-fiction. Besides writing, Sarah can be found embroidering, snowboarding, filming, and avoiding her homework. She has a special interest in gardening and nature and aspires to take up beekeeping in the future. She is a novice violin player and hopes to improve her skills throughout the rest of high school and beyond. While unsure of the specifics, Sarah knows she’d like to explore a career working with dogs and other animals that provide mental health services.
