The Streak

Sarah Hale
Sarah Hale is a junior and first year Journalism student who is excited to be a part of The Streak newspaper. Sarah hopes to fill her older brother, Ian Hale’s, shoes by becoming Opinion Editor by her senior year. Sarah has a passion for Op-Ed Articles and hopes to be able to express herself through her writing while still maintaining the newspaper’s integrity by supporting her work with objective research. She is looking forward to writing pieces on scientific advancements as well as medical research. Although Sarah is more inclined to be found writing stories of her own, she enjoys the challenges of writing non-fiction. Besides writing, Sarah can be found knitting, snowboarding, and avoiding her homework. She is a novice violin player and hopes to improve her skills throughout high school and beyond. While unsure where she would like to go from high school, Sarah knows she’d like to explore a career in natural sciences and alternative energy studies. She hopes to obtain a job where she can make a real difference.
