The Streak

Emily Deming
Emily Deming is a sophomore, first-year staff reporter for The Streak, and has almost always had an interest in reading and writing. In middle school, she was a member of the Journalism Club and couldn’t wait to join the real thing. Though just immersed in a legitimate publication, she intends to stay a member of the staff for the next two years. To compliment Journalism, she also works on the yearbook which has helped with editing ads to be publication ready. Her long-term goal for working on the paper is to get her voice out there in any way possible, and to help create a newspaper worth remembering. In the future, Emily would like to go to college and become a middle school teacher, majoring in English Language Arts and minoring in Journalism or Graphic Design. When outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her friends and playing video games. Probably the most remarkable thing about her is her hair, which she has dyed over 30 times. Some of her aspirations include visiting Norway, designing her own tattoo, and meeting the members of 5 Seconds of Summer. Overall, she wishes for a great experience being a part of The Streak.
